Inspired by the way Alice lived her life with love, passion and enthusiasm, her family established the Alice Sloan Trust in December 2005.

Alice Victoria Sloan lost her life at the beautiful and exciting age of 16 whilst on a school outdoor education trip. A tree fell on the tent that Alice was sharing and her life was taken instantly. Alice’s life ended, as she had lived, surrounded by friends, excited about the day ahead and the new adventure it would bring. An outgoing, positive, energetic young girl, Alice touched the lives of all she met with her confidence and her desire to have a great time. She loved life, loved to give everything a go and constantly embraced the world with her infectious smile.

Alice’s family, inspired by the way Alice lived her life, established the Trust in her name. The aim of the Alice Sloan Trust is to foster fun, friendship and adventure in the lives of others, just as Alice did throughout her entire life.
